Anything Co. Maekake Japanese Traditional Apron
Don’t be fooled by this apron’s stunning design—it’s actually been used as a functional piece of workwear for centuries in Japan. They’re produced in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture (the last remaining area of production in Japan) and made from durable cotton that’ll stand up to frequent use. These aprons from Anything Co. are made on century-old Toyota shuttle looms (yes, the car company, which originally started out as a loom manufacturer). They’re colored with a rich indigo using resist-dyeing techniques, which allows the original white shade of the fabric to come through in the design and not bleed or fade over time. We love how the color fades a bit with use—typically, this is a sign in Japan of well-worn beauty. The thick belts are also colored with white and red, both considered lucky colors, and are sturdy enough to offer lower back support when tied in a traditional fashion.
Kitchen Grips 2-Piece 5-Finger Chefs Kitchen Gloves
Handling hot kitchen equipment or serving dishes has never been safer than with these heat-resistant, stain-resistant, water-repellent fingered kitchen gloves. The result is a better and safer grasp, even as the mitts remain soft and flexible. Made from FLXaPrene™ material and Kevlar® stitching, their surface rejects bacteria buildup and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Plus they are water repellent to protect hands from steam and liquid burns. These functional mitts offer high-quality workmanship that has been subjected to rigorous testing standards—no detail is overlooked.

J. Catma Upcycled Kantha Apron — Red/Pink Color Way
Kantha, the ancient embroidery tradition from India, can be traced back to the first or second century. The needlework gave new life to old cloth by upcycling and repurposing various fabrics. Traditionally, the technique was used to create quilts, encompassing layers of old cotton or silk cloth sewn together using a running stitch, or kantha stitch, of coarse thread. The J. Catma Kantha Apron now applies this unique approach to exclusively sourced, colorful vintage textiles resulting in these soft, thick, one-of-a-kind aprons. These authentic pieces come directly from artisans in India who curate and produce them in small batches. You won’t find these kitchen accessories anywhere else.
Made from a range of beautiful upcycled textiles, each apron is unique, coming directly from artisans in India who source the colorful vintage fabric and produce them in small batches.
Please note, these aprons are all handmade, no two will be alike. Choose the color way you like, however the exact pattern/patchwork will not exactly the same as shown in the pictures. We love the adjustable neck, as it helps ensure a comfortable fit. And these vibrant, durable aprons are unlikely to fade with use, as they’ve already been pre-washed to ensure their rich colors stay true.
Serrv International Upcycled Kantha Dish Cloths — Set of 3

And no two are alike. They come in a wide range of traditional Indian patterns and colors and are finished with hanging loops for easy use and storage. These high-quality vibrant kitchen cloths are unlikely to fade with use, as they’ve already been pre-washed to ensure their rich colors stay true. Atelier Miyabi Tenugui — Set of 2
Nearly ubiquitous in Japanese households, tenugui are decorated, all-purpose cloths analogous to the western bandana. They can be used for everything from washcloths, dishtowels and oven mitts to food storage–perfect as an all-in-one sandwich wrapper and napkin. You can even use tenugui as wrapping paper, a head wrap or handkerchief. Consider them a sustainable alternative to reaching for paper towels to clean up a spill or wrapping up leftovers instead of plastic wrap. And these ones from Atelier Miyabi are 100% cotton, so they dry quick and soften with every wash. Set of two available in blue or red.
Casa Amarosa Tortilla Warmer
When serving tortillas, naan or pita breads with our sauces, we often make the flatbreads in batches ahead of time. In countries like Mexico, an insulated sleeve like this is essential for keeping tortillas hot for the duration of a meal or party. We love the festive colorful pattern on this neat product, which is handy for keeping all manner of flatbreads warm and retaining moisture for over an hour—we far prefer it to using a makeshift dish towel. Use the tortilla warmer as an attractive serving vessel for our Italian Piadina flatbreads or Middle Eastern Pita Bread in addition to tortillas.
Lolo Mercadito Hand-Embroidered Tortilla Warmers
Traditional Mexican embroidery adorns this lovely fabric-style tortilla warmer. It's made from 100% cotton, with inner batting to help insulate the tortillas to keep them flexible for filling tacos. We recommend microwaving the warmer itself before use, so your tortillas will keep warm for the duration of your meal.
