The Fresh Chile Co. Freeze-dried Green Hatch Chiles — 2 Pack
Hatch chiles are sought after for their moderate amount of heat – just enough to amp up a dish, but not overwhelm it. Free of preservatives and salt, these green Hatch peppers are from the Fresh Chile Company, where they are cleaned, chopped, and fire-roasted within hours of being harvested. Hatch chiles are specific to Hatch, New Mexico, and available for only 30 days out of every year, during which the company harvests and processes enough for the entire 12 months. Compared to canned chiles, we find this freeze-dried diced variety delivers a much fresher and better flavor. The peppers can be easily and quickly rehydrated in a few tablespoons of water and ready to use in 5 minutes, making them an ideal topping for burgers, pizza, eggs and more.
