Kinto Butter Dish
Serrv International Birds of a Feather Bread Warmer in Natural Basket
Made by artisans in Bangladesh, this beautiful bread warmer is fashioned from terra cotta clay that’s gathered by hand along riverbanks before it’s cleaned, thickened, molded and fired at a low temperature. This oven-safe stone features a lovely nature-inspired design as well as a whitewash, which softens the material’s natural reddish hue. It sits within a basket that’s handwoven using kaisa grass and palm leaves, which are fast-growing local resources. Plus, the employment these fair trade items provide to rural Bangladeshi women is vital, there aren't many other ways for them to earn an income. For best results, make sure your bread (slices, rolls, etc.) is spread out on the clay base, covering as much area as possible. It warms through surface contact.
JIA Inc. Kkini Bowl & Chopsticks — Set of 2
Inspired by Korean stoneware dolsot bowls, traditionally used for bibimbap, these warmly colored, matte-grey porcelain bowls are just the right size for a bowl of rice, miso soup or even late-night ice cream. The snugly fitting bamboo cover keeps food warm and prevents spills during transport, as well as providing elegant visual contrast. We especially love how the lid’s simple handle serves double duty a chopstick rest when placed on the table (it’s considered rude in Chinese culture to stick chopsticks upright into your bowl). The Kkini bowls and chopstick set are produced by JIA, an importer of fine Chinese ceramics and tableware. The company, whose name means “home”, works with international designers to put a modern spin on classic Chinese designs. Try this set for your next dinner for two, with dishes like our Taiwanese Five-Spice Pork with Rice or Chicken Teriyaki Donburi.
Miya Company Sendan Blue Sushi Set

Made in Japan, this sushi set built for two includes two sets of wooden chopsticks, two large rectangular plates and two small bowls for soy sauce—all stunningly packaged in a gift box. The unique navy and white swirled design gives a modern twist to classic Japanese blue and white pottery.

Verve Culture Handblown Glass Pitcher
De La Cal Ceramics Talavera Sangria Pitcher
Hand-shaped on a potter’s wheel, this pitcher is the perfect vessel for a fruity, refreshing sangria. We love the pinched shape of its mouth, which prevents ice and fruit from escaping as you pour.
De La Cal Ceramics 11-inch Multicolor Serving Bowl
Hand sculpted and hand painted, this 11-inch diameter bowl is beautiful and practical. It’s the ideal size for serving pastas or salads and can even be a mixing bowl in a pinch.
De La Cal Ceramics Dipping Dishes — Set of 4
Hand-shaped and hand-painted, these shallow dishes are perfect for serving snacks and holding dips like olive oil, featuring a lovely flower design at the center.
De La Cal Ceramics 13-inch Multicolor Serving Plate
Just as lovely at the center of your table as it is displayed on the wall (and there’s an included hole on the back for hanging), this detailed platter is hand painted in Spain’s traditional talavera style. Talavera originated in Talavera de la Reina, Spain and the pattern was inspired by those used by the Arabic Moors, who conquered Spain in the 8th century. True talavera can be defined as hand-thrown red clay that’s shaped on a potter’s wheel before being glazed with a majolica off-white background and painted by hand with vibrant colors, making patterns from both thick and delicate lines.
Guelaguetza Designs Multicolor Otomi Table Runner
Handcrafted by artisans in Hidalgo, Mexico, this stunning table runner is embroidered with colorful flowers and birds. This style of embroidery has been passed down for generations among women, and each piece takes weeks to complete, finished with care and skill.
JIA Inc. Persona Teacups — Set of 4
The teacups in JIA's four-piece Persona set are modeled after gaiwan, lidded vessels for loose-leaf tea that can be used both for steeping and serving. The pieces fit neatly together and are designed to be used together for drinking, with the lid holding back leaves as you sip. When you're not using it to cover the cup, rest the lid upside down, with its handle functioning as a base. This keeps the inside of the lid clean and, much like a saucer, the concave interior prevents moisture from dripping onto tabletops. In classic Chinese fashion, the teacups are made of fine, translucent porcelain, which is exceptionally strong despite its thin construction. A different texture on each teacup in the set shows off the delicate material through four different patterns: checkered, dotted, spiral and striped.
Eva Solo Nordic Kitchen Magnetic Trivet
Sometimes it’s the most pedestrian objects that get us the most excited. Case in point: trivets. They keep tabletops safe from water and heat damage and allow hot pots and pans to be brought straight to the table, not transferred to serving platters. This attractive Scandinavian-designed 7 ¼-inch round hardwood trivet features a powerful magnet, which will hold the trivet tightly to any steel pan, making moving a pan about the table or transfer from the kitchen easy and safe.
De La Cal Ceramics Multicolor Traditional Large Oval Platter
This intricately hand-painted large ceramic platter will be a showstopper on the table. Every handmade platter is one of a kind, though each is complete with a scalloped edge and raised-relief design. And it’s large enough to ensure your main course will fit perfectly.
