Nearly 100 years ago on the banks of the Erdre river in Nantes, France, Georges-René Julio began making stunning wood brushes for the home as an apprentice—eventually opening his own business along with his wife, Andrée Jardin, in 1947.
Now, their two grandchildren carry on the couple’s legacy, crafting high-quality brushes, brooms and cleaning products rooted in those traditional methods but with a modern sensibility. The business is named after their grandmother to honor her memory.
