Milk Street Chef's Slotted Turner by Lamson
Also known as a fish spatula, Lamson's slotted offset spatula is an indispensable and endlessly useful kitchen tool for sautéing, stir frying, grilling and more. The long, flexible paddle is lightweight and easy to manipulate, yet it's sturdy enough to lift half-pound burgers and whole grilled cheese sandwiches. On the other hand, the sharp, angled edge and ultrathin design will easily slide underneath delicate foods like eggs, pancakes or its namesake fish fillets. The hardened and tempered high-carbon stainless steel—the same stuff Lamson makes its knives from—gives it a terrific springiness. We worked with Lamson to produce this exclusive version of the Slotted Turner, with a durable polymer handle in our favorite Milk Street high-visibility orange. The pop of color makes it easy to find in the messiest utensil drawer or beneath all the dishes in an overstuffed sink.
J.K. Adams for Milk Street Walnut Cutting eBoard
I partnered with Vermont company J.K. Adams to design this Milk Street Exclusive eBoard, with two key features designed for home cooks. One, a magnetic spot to hold a chef’s knife. With young kids, I don’t like knives just lying around. A knife-shaped groove in the board keeps blades lying flat, held in place with magnets, and you can turn the sharp edge safely inward, out of harm's way. Second, I wanted a spot to put my phone so I could see it while cooking — I often use the step-by-step photos and videos at the Milk Street website, and this would be the perfect spot, right on the cutting board itself. I could also take phone calls over speakerphone in a pinch. (The slot is also long enough to hold a tablet.) For the material, we decided on a dark walnut wood with a gorgeous grain, durable enough to withstand denting without blunting or dulling your blades. The color will deepen beautifully with use. — Christopher Kimball

Kikuichi for Milk Street 5" & 8" Knife Bundle
8 inch Chef Knife: Literally translated as “cow sword,” this 8-inch Japanese gyuto from Kikuichi is an analogue to the European chef’s knife and is designed for any and every kitchen task. Lighter, leaner and more nimble than Western-style knives, gyutos are as thin as possible—without sacrificing rigidity—and feature a more acute blade angle for cleaner, crisper slicing. These 8-inch knives are designed for any and every kitchen task. We love the gentle curve to the blade shape for mincing and the bolster-less design, which makes thorough sharpening easier and the overall weight of the knife lighter. 5 inch Petty Knife: If you’ve only ever used small, Western-style paring knives, Kikuichi’s 5-inch petty knife will feel revelatory. Japanese knives are lean, durable, and more precise than their Western counterparts. The extra length and taller blade on this knife makes it more adept than shorter knives for a broader range of tasks, yet it is still incredibly lightweight for better control. This is the ideal picnic or camping knife; it is also great for everything from dicing small vegetables to breaking down roasts for stew meat or making sandwiches for school lunches.
The Milk Street TV Cast Aprons
These neatly designed aprons are the only ones our cooks use on Milk Street TV. They are not a gauzy fashion accessory—I like function in my kitchen with clean designs, without wild colors or cutesy printed messages. These aprons are beautiful, simple and built to last for real cooks, substantial in terms of fabric weight but not overwhelming. The wider-than-standard bibs provides maximum protection from splatters, and the apron itself is the proper length—just above the knee for me. Some aprons are so short that you end up with flour or hot oil on your pants if you’re not careful! For added convenience, the apron's adjustable neck strap uses a metal buckle (similar to a guitar strap) and avoids the issue of loose ends. The thick, durable cotton will soften over time, making for a custom fit, and is machine washable: use cold water and tumble dry low.
Material: 100% Cotton, metal hardware
Dimensions: Width: 30 inches, Length: 33 inches, Two 40 inch dyed twill tape waist ties, One 26 inch dyed twill tape adjustable neck strap
Care: Machine wash cold with like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only. Tumble dry on low setting. Remove promptly.
Smith Tea Milk Street Evening Blend
A soothing evening tea blend need not be chamomile or drab decaf. We developed this Milk Street Exclusive blend with Smith Teamaker in Portland, Oregon, whose founder, Steven Smith, revolutionized American tea-drinking habits. Our sophisticated spin on Indian spiced chai matches caffeine-free South African rooibos with Guatemalan green cardamom, zesty ginger, bright Australian lemon myrtle and a floral hit of rose petal. Sweet, rich coconut rounds out the blend for a bold, satisfying cup.
Elevator Coffee for Milk Street 177 Coffee Blend
After tasting coffees from roasters around the country, we decided to partner with Elevator Cafe & Commons, a small roaster in Portland, Oregon, to produce a custom blend for us from the freshest beans. The bright, clear flavors and precision of their roasting thoroughly impressed us. When you order our blend, you can be sure that the beans have been freshly roasted and shipped out immediately.
Our inaugural 177 Milk Street coffee is a do-it-all blend that works across brewing methods and accommodates a variety of palates. The medium roast mix of Central and South American beans packs a full, rich body and a balanced nutty, cocoa-rich flavor. It’s a solid, full-bodied blend that’ll be terrific brewed in your standard coffee maker, pour-over, French press, Italian-style Moka pot or cold brew.
Milk Street Za'atar Blend

We like to think there are few dishes za’atar can’t improve. It’s also the perfect savory addition to your morning avocado toast, fried eggs or even a bagel smeared with cream cheese.

Milk Street Urfa Pepper
Produced in Turkey, this glossy, deep burgundy-colored chili flake has an earthy, cocoa-rich flavor with moderate heat level and stone-fruit finish to it.Urfa pepper is best used as a garnish on roasted meats, winter squash, legumes, even pizza. We keep a bowl on the table.
Milk Street Sichuan Salt
Milk Street’s Sichuan Salt tingles the tongue with prickly Sichuan peppercorns rounded out with warm five-spice powder, musky white pepper and a touch of sugar. Well rounded, it's an all-purpose seasoning that we dust over roast chicken, seared steaks, vegetable stir fries, chewy fried noodles and snacks like popcorn. It blends well with sesame oil to drizzle over sautéed greens or roasted sweet potatoes. Or blend with a little cornstarch and use as a coating for sautéed cutlets or cubed tofu.
Milk Street Honey-Spice Tea Sugar
Familiar yet fresh, our custom granulated honey-sugar blend features a complex mix of warm spices hinting of chai, lightened with a refreshing mint and lavender finish.
Milk Street Turkish Cardamom Spice Coffee Sugar
This fragrant, spicy blend is inspired by the tiny, potent cups of coffee we found in the Middle East brewed with ground green cardamom pods. We round out cardamom's sharp spice with a touch of cinnamon, vanilla and a hint of bittersweet cocoa, as they do in Scandinavia.
Milk Street Coconut Ginger Cream Coffee Sugar
