Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Julienne Pocket Peeler
Our Julienne Pocket Peeler makes it easy to create uniform thin strips. The compact design gives you greater control and agility while peeling and is easy to store. We frequently use this tool to shred vegetables for salads and slaws.
Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Straight Pocket Peeler
The uniquely designed, compact design of this razor-sharp peeler gives you greater control and agility. It’ll make quick work of prepping most any vegetable and is perfect for cutting ribbons of carrots or curls of Parmesan or chocolate.
Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Serrated Pocket Peeler
Our Serrated Pocket Peeler will easily help you remove smooth or fuzzy skins from tomatoes, peaches and more that would usually require blanching to loosen the skins. We think it’s a necessary tool for making fresh tomato sauces in which the thick skins would otherwise mar a silky texture or a peach cobbler where all we want are chunks of perfectly tender peach.
Wet-It Dishcloths
Reusable, compostable and multifunctional, Wet-It Dishcloths are an amazing alternative to both paper towels and sponges. Made only with cellulose pulp and cotton, the thick sheets are stiff when dry—almost like cardboard—and soften into cloths that can absorb up to 16 times their weight in liquid. Unlike paper towels, Wet-It Dishcloths can be washed and reused (about 6 months with regular use). Plus, they are effective at scrubbing stubborn messes but not abrasive, so they won't damage surfaces. And unlike sponges, the towels are thin and flexible enough to reach into tight corners and irregular shapes. We also like their charming designs—choose between a Radish, Carrot or Artichoke pattern, all of which use natural colorfast inks that won't fade.
In addition to being highly durable and effective, Wet-It Dishcloths are ridiculously easy to keep clean in a wide variety of methods: Wash them in the washing machine and dryer with the rest of your laundry; add them to the top rack of your dishwasher; soak them in a boiling pot of water; or wet the cloths then microwave for three minutes to sanitize.
Just Panela Granulated Panela Sugar
Here at Milk Street we have rediscovered more flavorful pantry items including flours, vinegars, oils, and salts. At the top of our list, however, is sugar. This raw, unrefined sugar from Colombia packs a complex, earthy flavor that’s terrific in everything from tea, coffee and cocktails to oatmeal or grapefruit. The bittersweet flavor also does well in savory applications, like a pot of Mexican beans or tomato-based pasta sauces. It will become your sugar bowl standard.
Milk Street Sichuan Peppercorns
The mouth-tingling power of our Sichuan Peppercorns largely defines the cooking of the Sichuan region of China and shows up in Taiwanese cooking as well.
Milk Street Smoked Paprika
Milk Street's Smoked Paprika packs a potent smokiness and is a valuable ingredient for adding body and depth. Essential to Spanish cooking, smoked paprika is just that: chilies slowly dried over smoldering wood before being ground.
Milk Street Sichuan Salt
Milk Street’s Sichuan Salt tingles the tongue with prickly Sichuan peppercorns rounded out with warm five-spice powder, musky white pepper and a touch of sugar. Well rounded, it's an all-purpose seasoning that we dust over roast chicken, seared steaks, vegetable stir fries, chewy fried noodles and snacks like popcorn. It blends well with sesame oil to drizzle over sautéed greens or roasted sweet potatoes. Or blend with a little cornstarch and use as a coating for sautéed cutlets or cubed tofu.
Milk Street Sumac
Ground from tart berries, tart and fruity sumac is a souring agent used throughout the Middle East. Consider it a “dry” acid to add zip to your basic morning eggs (fried eggs with sumac and za’atar) or our Sumac-Spiced Chicken (Musakhan).
Milk Street Za'atar Blend
We like to think there are few dishes za’atar can’t improve. Our rendition of this Middle Eastern herb-and-sesame spice blend is punched up with Aleppo pepper, sumac and garlic for a complete one-stop seasoning. It’s also the perfect savory addition to your morning avocado toast, fried eggs or even a bagel smeared with cream cheese. We like to think there are few dishes za’atar can’t improve. Mom's Mala Sichuan Chili Sauce
Mom's Mala is a vibrantly red and deeply fragrant Sichuan chili oil that is all about bringing out the aromatic side of chili, balancing mouth-tingling (ma) Sichuan peppercorns with spicy (la) chili peppers. This classic mouth-tingling sauce is a classic condiment much harder to find on supermarket shelves than other Asian hot sauces that feature peanut or garlic. Rounded out with a blend of star anise, cinnamon and cloves—the core spices of Chinese five-spice powder—and a touch of sugar and oil, this Sichuan chili oil has floral and lightly smoky notes and is available in both mild and spicy versions.
Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Spice Jar Set of 4
We strongly encourage grinding whole spices fresh for your recipes. Sure, it’s an extra step, but the flavor boost is transformative. That’s why we designed a Ratchet Grinder with Kuhn Rikon and these accompanying stacking spice jars, which snap onto the bottom of the spice mill for less mess and easy storage. These 3-tablespoon containers are just the right size for holding a small amount of spice without letting it go stale. We also love the containers for transporting small amounts of spices and seasonings in our lunch or picnic containers. A desk lunch will never be boring again.

Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Quick Turn Spatula
This is our version of one of our favorite kitchen tools, the fish spatula. Flexible and thin, it’s a do-it-all tool for sautéing, grilling, baking—even stirring pasta. The thin, angled edge can work its way underneath the most stuck-on or delicate foods.
Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Wok Spatula
Also known as a “wok shovel,” this broad, short spatula perfectly fits the radius of our wok and is an essential tool for the quick movements of stir frying and sautéing. It’ll also work well with most any stainless or cast-iron skillet, much less looks tidy enough for tableside serving.
Milk Street Spice Blends Sampler 4-Pack
Marinara Magic is an upgraded Italian seasoning blend that features fennel seed, oregano, chili flakes and Parmesan. It adds instant depth and flavor to not only pasta sauce but also soups, stews, pot roasts or beans. Likewise, use Rice Spice for any manner of grains; the savory, warming blend includes earthy turmeric, coriander seed, fennel and dill, with a touch of red miso for umami. Veggie Lift, a light and savory mix with caraway, coriander, fenugreek and garlic, adds a delicate complexity and aromatic boost to any vegetable. And our bright, zesty Poultry Power is reminiscent of Madras-style yellow curry and features abundant warm spices, chilies and piquant flavors like tart mango (amchoor) and citrus.
Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon Serving Spoon
