This fragrant, spicy blend is inspired by the tiny, potent cups of coffee we found in the Middle East brewed with ground green cardamom pods. We round out cardamom's sharp spice with a touch of cinnamon, vanilla and a hint of bittersweet cocoa, as they do in Scandinavia. Beyond coffee and tea, sprinkle some on our Pistachio-Cardamom Loaf Cake right before baking for added texture and a flavor boost. This aromatic blend also pairs wonderfully with the flavors of our Orange-Anise Bundt Cake (Ciambella): Swap a few teaspoons in the honey-orange juice glaze, or sprinkle some on immediately after glazing to enhance the crackly, sweet shell.
