The Perfect Vegetable Prep Knife

Perfect Length

The medium-length 7-inch blade is nimbler than a longer chef’s knife.

Razor Thin

The 2 mm-thick blade slices with ease.

Handle is Durable and Comfortable

A riveted polymer handle fits all hands.

Stays Sharper Longer

The German 1.4116 blade steel holds a keen edge.

Won’t Rust

Stainless steel will stay in pristine shape.

More Control, More Precision

The nakiri is lighter and easier to control than a heavy chef’s knife.

Easier to Sharpen

Without a thick bolster between blade and handle, the knife is light and easy to sharpen.

The Blade Is So Lightweight That It’s Much Easier to Handle

Lighter, thinner knives are both easier to handle and to slice through foods. At just 6 ounces, the nakiri weighs a fraction of large European chef’s knife, making prep work less tiring.
So Sharp and Lightweight

Premium Performance at a Fraction of the Cost

Many Japanese nakiris cost hundreds of dollars and will rust if you’re not careful. This knife—at an incredibly low price—does the work just as well and requires little maintenance.
So Sharp and Lightweight

Subtly Arced Blade Makes Rock Chopping Easier

While nakiris are traditionally designed with a very flat blade, we added a subtle curve at the tip for a more familiar cutting style.

Testimonials

I FEEL LIKE A CHEF!

I FEEL LIKE A CHEF!

"Of course, I'm not— but this Nakiri Knife is so easy to wield and makes quick work of slicing, chopping and cutting. Super sharp and easy to clean. I love the weight of it in my hand and no longer dread recipes that require dicing tomatoes!"

I LOVE THIS KNIFE!

"This knife exceeded my expectations. It is amazingly sharp, light and easy to use. The downside...Now I am unhappy with all of my other knives."

COMFORTABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT, SHARP. A GREAT VALUE

COMFORTABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT, SHARP. A GREAT VALUE

"This was my first venture beyond the standard chef's knife. I was a little nervous but found that it really is very nice for it's intended purpose. I do like the "height" of the blade which does make me feel a little "safer" because of how easy it is to make a better "fingertips curled under" claw. My preparation work has evolved over time where I really am doing a lot more with vegetables. While I was skeptical at first I can now say that this is my preferred tool for that task. A great purchase for the money!"

WATERMELON WONDER

WATERMELON WONDER

"The first thing I used my knife on was a watermelon. Cutting the rind off was always haphazard at best. This time I smoothly shaved off the rind without taking chunks of melon and I was done in less than half the time. Love my new knife!"
