J. Catma Upcycled Kantha Apron — Coral Colorway
Kantha, the ancient embroidery tradition from India, can be traced back to the first or second century. The needlework gave new life to old cloth by upcycling and repurposing various fabrics. Traditionally, the technique was used to create quilts, encompassing layers of old cotton or silk cloth sewn together using a running stitch, or kantha stitch, of coarse thread. The J. Catma Kantha Apron now applies this unique approach to exclusively sourced, colorful vintage textiles resulting in these soft, thick, one-of-a-kind aprons. These authentic pieces come directly from artisans in India who curate and produce them in small batches. You won’t find these kitchen accessories anywhere else.
Made from a range of beautiful upcycled textiles, each apron is unique, coming directly from artisans in India who source the colorful vintage fabric and produce them in small batches.
Please note, these aprons are all handmade, no two will be alike. Choose the color way you like, however the exact pattern/patchwork will not exactly the same as shown in the pictures. We love the adjustable neck, as it helps ensure a comfortable fit. And these vibrant, durable aprons are unlikely to fade with use, as they’ve already been pre-washed to ensure their rich colors stay true.

Veritable Classic Indoor Garden
Grow herbs, baby vegetables and flowers in any season—even in small kitchens with no windows or natural light—with the Veritable Indoor Garden. This fully automated indoor growing system keeps the plants watered and mimics the light cycle of daylight. After two years of thoughtful design, Veritable created this compact countertop garden with energy-saving LEDs and a light color spectrum designed to encourage faster growth and maximize flavor. Lights turn on and off each day and automatic irrigation does the work for you, so your plants will get all the light, water and nutrients they need–even if you go on vacation. It’s compact enough to fit under cabinets on most countertops, even after the plants grow to their tallest with the adjustable lights. Each garden can grow more than 70 varieties of plants, starting with a pod that contains organic seeds, soil and nutrients specific to each plant for optimal growth. To get you started, you’ll receive four pods, called Lingots, with your order: parsley, basil, chives and thyme, all of which will be ready to eat in just four weeks, with a regular harvest lasting four to six months.

Marna Silicone Piggy Steamer Lid
Designed for steaming food, the Marna Piggy Steamer from Japan is a silicone lid that forms a tight seal over pots and containers, vents excess steam through its snout and is easy to lift by its ear-shaped handles. Use it for perfect stovetop steaming, splatter-free microwave cooking or even refrigerator storage in place of plastic wrap. It's more compact and flexible than metal pot lids and fits any vessel less than 8.5 inches in diameter, with the silicone locking in moisture for effective steaming; smartly designed holes in the pig snout act as vents to avoid built-up pressure. When you're done using it, you can throw the lid in a kitchen drawer for storage without worrying about finding a spot on the shelf.

Even though the jars are designed for storage and food preservation, they’re attractive enough to use at the table, bar or on your countertops. For serving (and for easier cleaning), simply remove the lid, and you have an attractive piece that transitions easily to the table.

Provence Platters — Vintage Platter
Meet your next heirloom piece. Provence Platters reclaims retired wine barrels sourced from vineyards in the countryside of Napa or Bordeaux, turning each one into stunningly beautiful serving pieces. These particular vintage platters are Provence Platter’s most unique offerings, made from hard-to-find, one-off vintage barrels (up to 20 years old). Their patinas may range from a light honey color or weathered to a darker shade, and many of the tops may contain rare, unique markings. The surface of this large serving platter is completely food-safe, thanks to three coatings of beeswax on the oak wood. And each platter is buffed to a soft luster and finished with iron handles, forged by hand in Brooklyn the old-fashioned way: by heating and hand-bending each piece. This platter is perfect for entertaining—we like it for elegantly pulling together cheese and charcuterie. These are some of the most stunning, elegant reclaimed pieces we’ve seen yet—each one is truly a collectible statement piece.
