Los Angeles-based company Hebel & Co makes its small-batch, wonderfully textured halva by hand using our favorite brand of tahini, Soom Tahini. Halva is often eaten on its own as a candy or spread on toast, but you can also crumble it over oatmeal or fold it into such desserts as homemade ice cream, brownies or cookie dough.
