From their New York City Kitchens, Kenny Luna and Scott Hattis began Loisa to produce higher-quality, organic versions of popular Latin ingredients—beginning with the two iconic spices adobo and sazon.

The name is an homage to “Loisaida”—the nickname for the Lower East side barrio of NYC that’s known for being the heart of Latin cuisine and culture.

We test everything we sell. Here’s how we’d use this.


Aside from the ever-popular arroz con pollo that includes sazon, it’s lovely sprinkled into rice, beans, sautéed veggies, braised meats, grilled corn and tossed with oven-baked fries (trust us). We love to add two tablespoons instead of the dry spices to our Roasted Whole Cauliflower with Cumin and Turmeric.
