Made in Italy from food-grade die cast aluminum and solid pear wood, these round ravioli cutters from Marcato are built to work—and to last. The aluminum press cuts cleanly through fresh pasta dough in a single press and seals ravioli tightly (none of our ravioli leaked when we tested this). Each raviolo will be complete with classic fluted edges, and the uniformly sized pasta will cook through evenly, instead of gambling on eyeballed pasta sizes. And the smooth handle is comfortable to grip. Try this for more than pasta; it makes a great cookie cutter, too.
We test everything we sell. Here’s how we’d use this.
Try this with any recipe for fresh pasta dough, rolled out to a 1 or 2 thickness level on a pasta maker. Spoon filling on to one sheet before topping with another sheet of pasta. Press the cutter around the filling firmly to cut it and seal the filling inside.
Hand-wash in warm water; dry immediately for best results.
