Inspired by Georgian cooking’s deft touch with spices, Milk Street's Lemon Herb Spiced Salt is a light, bright and bold blend of coriander, lemon and dill, boosted with sharp mustard and caraway seeds. Use it as a spice rub before cooking or as a garnish for seafood, vegetables and chicken. We originally developed the blend for the latter: Season whole or spatchcocked chickens before roasting, or use as a spice rub—blended with paprika if you like—on chicken breasts to sauté. Blend into yogurt with extra-virgin olive oil and lemon juice for a crudité dip or quick dressing; we also like it on cucumber salads. Or toss with shrimp, butter, and a stiff shot of lemon juice after a quick saute for an inspired spin on scampi.
