The perfect balance of toasty spices, this blend includes coriander, amchoor (sour mango), cumin, red chili, black salt, hing and more.
Our blend’s opening aroma is warm coriander, cumin and sulfury black salt—though we included less than a typical chaat masala—and the first taste that hits your tongue is bright, tangy amchoor. The salty-tart mix adds plenty of body and flavor to foods, balancing sweeter dishes and ingredients, like fruit, while accentuating umami at the same time. Try it on everything from tropical fruit like guava or papaya to apples, popsicles, cocktails (it’s fantastic along the rim), sandwiches, salad dressings, pakoras or tempura, French fries and other fried goods.
