It’s a staple in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines and is the backbone of the spice blend of the same name, where the herb is sun dried and blended with salt, sumac and toasted sesame.

HOW TO USE

This is the perfect spread for pitas or naan or any sort of Mediterranean sandwich. We love it as a sauce/dip alone or with a drizzle added to hummus, labneh or babaganoush. It’s a lovely addition to cooked veggies and salad dressings and can even act as a rub for chicken, lamb and more.
