We use chilies throughout our cooking for deep flavor and contrast—a little bright heat can cut through rich or dense flavors. These organic Korean chili flakes have a fresh and fruity, moderately spicy flavor and coarse, flaky texture that is ideal for Korean dishes and beyond. Frankly, we use it anywhere and everywhere we might use a mild crushed red pepper flake. We like that the flakes are large enough that they don’t entirely fade into a dish, providing a counterpoint.
