Named for the dimpled indent at the bottom of your wine bottle, Colorado-based company Wine Punts makes these beautiful salt and pepper cellars with elegantly rustic etched labels out of recycled wine bottles. And they’re sold exclusively at Milk Street! The company partners with local restaurants and hotels to save tens of thousands of glass bottles per year from crowding our landfills. Artisans saw off the neck of the bottles then fire-polish and inspect every Wine Punts piece to ensure a seamless, smooth rim that’s wide enough to grab a pinch of salt or pepper while cooking. Each Wine Punts product has its own personality, from slight variations in diameter and hue to the patterned ridges on the bottom.
We test everything we sell. Here’s how we’d use this.
Dishwasher safe. Serving spoon not included.
What began as a college project in 2006 has since blossomed into Wine Punts, a Colorado-based company that repurposes recycled wine bottles into unique glassware and kitchen accessories. The business was founded with a mission to keep these bottles out of landfills and continuing to improve the enviroment through responsible recycling.
