Try it as a nutty accompaniment for our rich, coconut-y Brazilian Fish Stew or classic tagines, North African stews that are often served with couscous (check out our version of Chicken Tagine with Apricots, Butternut Squash and Spinach.
If your Fonio turns out a little soggy, simply heat it until the water is absorbed. If it's too grainy or gritty, add more water—this staple grain is very forgiving.
