Cerámica Muñoz 16-Inch Rectangular Cazuela Baking Dish
Crafted by hand, this large rectangular cazuela baking dish is produced in the village of La Rambla in southern Spain, an area with 4,000 years of pottery tradition. Made from red clay collected in the Spanish cities of Zamora, Valencia and Teruel, each dish is shaped and dried in the sun before being fired in a 1832℉ oven. The 16-inch dish with low sides is the perfect size for cooking lasagna, roasts and rice dishes. Unlike some terracotta tabletop items that cannot withstand high temperatures, this casserole can handle slow, steady heat, so foods cook gently and evenly in the oven or over a medium flame on the grill. Each glazed piece is one of a kind and may come with slight variations.
Ooni Koda 12 Gas-Powered Outdoor Pizza Oven
The Ooni Koda 12 is an amazing gas-powered pizza oven that reaches temperatures over 900 degrees Fahrenheit and cooks a pizza in just minutes, producing a professional chewy, bubbly crust. Using this pizza oven’s gas burner will be a snap for most home cooks, as it operates similarly to a stovetop burner. A knob on the side of the oven allows you to finely adjust the flame to your preference, allowing far more control over cooking temperature than with wood-burning ovens. The Koda 12's innovative L-shaped burner heats quickly from multiple directions; once turned on, the oven is ready to cook in 20 minutes. The burner design also helps maintain the ripping-hot temperatures (up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit) necessary for making pizza, while the stone baking board absorbs and retains heat well, crisping the bottom crust as the oven’s ambient heat cooks the pizza from above. To top it all off, setup and clean-up are a breeze with the lightweight Koda 12, which is easy to wipe clean and has foldable legs for easier storage.
Cerámica Muñoz 15-inch Oval Cazuela Baking Dish
Crafted by hand, this large oval cazuela baking dish is produced in the village of La Rambla in southern Spain, an area with 4,000 years of pottery tradition. Made from red clay collected in the Spanish cities of Zamora, Valencia and Teruel, each dish is shaped and dried in the sun before being fired in a 1832℉ oven. The 15-inch length and low sides make it the perfect size for cooking everything from fish to roasts. Unlike some terracotta tabletop items that cannot withstand high temperatures, this casserole can handle slow, steady heat, so foods cook gently and evenly in the oven or over a medium flame on the grill. Each glazed piece is one of a kind and may come with slight variations.
Milo by Kana Dutch Oven and Ultimate Skillet Set
Milo by Kana's 5.5-quart Dutch oven from Kana and 10-inch skillet together are a perfect kitchen starter set. Both are made with enameled cast iron that retains and redistributes heat evenly, for gentle, uniform cooking on the stove or in the oven. The Dutch oven’s lid fits perfectly on the skillet, so no more scrambling for an ill-fitting lid; together, these two will cover all of your cookware needs.
Vermicular 10.2 inch Oven Safe Skillet with Lid
Our kitchen team was, quite frankly, stunned by the Vermicular 10-inch skillet. Weighing in at 2.4 pounds, it is at least 50% thinner than other cast-iron skillets, making it the lightest skillet we’ve tried. Durably designed and nonreactive, it features a heat-resistant enameled surface and an oven-safe aluminum handle. The pan cooks more like stainless steel than cast iron thanks to its thinness, which makes it heat more quickly, but it offers the nonstick and cleaning advantages of enameled cast iron. And it still retains heat well and evenly like cast iron. It’s the perfect skillet for searing or stir-frying. The skillet also comes with a stainless steel lid with an attached cast-iron handle that’s designed to be stood upright to avoid touching a dirty counter. Use to sauté veggies, fry an egg, sear a steak or make the perfect crispy grilled cheese.
Cerámica Muñoz 5-Inch Terracotta Clay Bowl - set of 4
Made by hand, this set of versatile clay bowls are produced in the village of La Rambla in southern Spain, an area with 4,000 years of pottery tradition. The 5.5-inch diameter and high sides make them the perfect size for individual servings of soup, salad or dessert. But what sets these bowls apart is their ability to withstand heat; unlike many terra cotta tabletop items, these bowls can go into the microwave or oven—even directly on to the stovetop at medium heat. Each glazed piece is one of a kind, which means the bowls may come with slight variations.
Milo by Kana 3.5-Quart Enameled Dutch Oven
For those who want the versatility of a Dutch oven but don’t need large batches every time they cook, the 3.5-quart Dutch oven from Milo by Kana is just the right size. Made from a high-quality enameled cast iron that doesn't require seasoning before first use, it is large enough to bake loaves of bread and make dinner for two, but small enough that it won’t take up all your cabinet space—or dishwasher space, for that matter, since the company’s products can go right in for easy cleanup.
Field Company Cast Iron Skillet Lids
Field Company seasoned cast iron lids are made to withstand high-heat cooking on the stovetop and in the oven. Each tight-fitting lid is designed with concentric ridges on the inside to gather condensation and distribute moisture evenly while basting the surface of your food as it braises. Combined with a lightweight Field Company skillet, you can braise, sear or bake with ease. Available in several different sizes to ensure a snug fit on skillets large and small. Cerámica Muñoz 12-Inch Large Terracotta Clay Cazuela
Crafted by hand, this versatile clay dish is produced in the village of La Rambla in southern Spain, an area with 4,000 years of pottery tradition. Made from red clay collected in the Spanish cities of Zamora, Valencia and Teruel, each dish is shaped and dried in the Spanish sun before being fired in a 1832 degree Fahrenheit oven. The 12-inch diameter and low sides make them the perfect size for hot dips, stews and larger tapas dishes. Unlike some terracotta tabletop items that cannot withstand high temperatures, these cazuelas hold a slow, steady heat, so foods cook gently and evenly. Use them in place of a skillet, a paella pan, a sauté pan, or oven casserole. Each glazed piece is one of a kind and may come with slight variations.
JIA Inc. Cast Iron Ding Casserole
The oldest form of Chinese cookware is the ding, a round vessel that in ancient times symbolized power and was used for rituals. This modern cast-iron version recalls the original bronze models of the Shang dynasty but is much better for cooking—the pot heats evenly, works on all stovetops and in the oven, and has a white enameled interior that doesn't require seasoning before the first use. Traditionally, a ding was heated by lighting a small fire between the three legs; we love that JIA retains the three-legged design but features it on a separate base so that the ding can be used on modern cooking surfaces (the base is fitted with silicone so it's non-slip). The semicircular handles of the pot and lid give a visual effect of unity in the design, while the matte black material and raised base look dignified and elegant.
Vermicular Oven Pot - 22cm
Weighing in at 9.3 pounds, the Vermicular Oven Pot is one of the lightest Dutch ovens we’ve tried—but it’s still incredibly durable. It features three layers of heat-resistant enameled coating made from a proprietary glass composition that distribute heat evenly. Plus, a precision seal between the lid and rim helps to lock in moisture and flavor. Its design promotes excellent heat conduction, radiant heat and steam convection to cook food gently and evenly. Both the lid and pot are equipped with ergonomic handles for a secure, comfortable grip when transferring the pot from stove to oven or from kitchen to table. Use to steam-roast vegetables, cook rice, soups, stews, braises and more. Available in natural beige or matte black.
