Onsuri’s EVOO was named Jordan’s Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
It also has received 20 other global olive oil awards, and the company works to positively impact their local community. The single-estate family farm employs around 60 nomadic Bedouin families, along with locals who tend to 215,000 olive trees. The grounds resemble a vineyard, where trees are capped at 7 feet and planted close together to increase efficiency and yield. The family also is committed to using sustainable practices such as composting, utilizing solar power energy and recycling used water.
