After two years of thoughtful design, Veritable created this compact countertop garden with energy-saving LEDs and a light color spectrum designed to encourage faster growth and maximize flavor. Lights turn on and off each day and automatic irrigation does the work for you, so your plants will get all the light, water and nutrients they need–even if you go on vacation. It’s compact enough to fit under cabinets on most countertops, even after the plants grow to their tallest with the adjustable lights. Each garden can grow more than 70 varieties of plants, starting with a pod that contains organic seeds, soil and nutrients specific to each plant for optimal growth. To get you started, you’ll receive four pods, called Lingots, with your order: parsley, basil, chives and thyme, all of which will be ready to eat in just four weeks, with a regular harvest lasting four to six months.
