Serrv International Birds of a Feather Bread Warmer in Natural Basket
Made by artisans in Bangladesh, this beautiful bread warmer is fashioned from terra cotta clay that’s gathered by hand along riverbanks before it’s cleaned, thickened, molded and fired at a low temperature. This oven-safe stone features a lovely nature-inspired design as well as a whitewash, which softens the material’s natural reddish hue. It sits within a basket that’s handwoven using kaisa grass and palm leaves, which are fast-growing local resources. Plus, the employment these fair trade items provide to rural Bangladeshi women is vital, there aren't many other ways for them to earn an income. For best results, make sure your bread (slices, rolls, etc.) is spread out on the clay base, covering as much area as possible. It warms through surface contact.

Suncraft Silicone Serving Spoon
Our very own Matthew Card (our creative director of recipes and products) loves this functional spoon that’s stylish enough to use at the table: “This silicone serving spoon is interesting in that it’s short with a rounded, really comfortable wood handle. The broad, concave paddle is stiffer than other silicone tools and features steep sides ideal for scooping rice, stews, etc. It's stiff enough to actually scrape up stuck-on bits, making it really the perfect tool for nonstick cookware. All the Suncraft material is really well thought out, beautifully made and durable, crafted for long-term use.” Use this for serving pasta, paella, roasted veggies and more.
Kinto Non-Slip Wooden Tray
From breakfast in bed to backyard barbeques, there’s much to be said for the utility of a good serving tray. We found this beautiful pressed-wood tray with a terrific secret: a non-slip coating. The top has a thin, invisible layer of polymer that prevents slippery glasses, mugs and plates from shifting during transport. Choose between sizes or pick up both for varying loads. Established in 1972 in Shiga, Japan, Kinto incorporates Japanese principles of simplicity and subtle elegance into its tableware designs.

Be Home Thai Teak Spreader — Set of 4
You'll want to bring this beautiful four-piece set out when you have guests to show off the teakwood's lustrous grain, which matches any table setting. The gently curved handles fit comfortably in your hand, allowing for a solid grip despite their petite size, and their blades are nimble yet sturdy. Unlike other woods, teak has high tensile strength, which means the tools are unlikely to snap or crack even with the thin blades. And teak's naturally high oil content and dense grain can withstand water better than most wood, so you can wash and use the serving set regularly with no problem. Each set is individually handcrafted by Thai artisans who sustainably harvest from government-managed forests; no two pieces are exactly the same, but each one has a smooth, cool finish, is comfortable to use and features a simple, timeless design.

La Chamba® Salsa Dish with Spoon
Named for its place of origin, La Chamba clay cookware from Colombia is crafted completely by hand using centuries-old methods. Made from local river clay, the stunning matte-black surface of this salsa dish looks similar to cast iron but is much more lightweight and easier to handle. It also adds a beautiful authentic accent to your table. The handcrafted lid is perfect for keeping your condiments covered until the moment you need them, especially when cooking outdoors—we love the look of La Chamba as part of an outdoor barbecue spread. Use it to serve our Colombian Avocado Salsa (Áji de Aguacate) or our Green Chili and Tomatillo Hot Sauce. Making La Chamba cookware is quite literally a community effort, and every piece passes through the hands of various skilled artisans in one village in Colombia. The three types of clay used in the dishes’ construction make them strong enough to use in the oven, microwave or on your stove—but as with all clay cookware, La Chamba pieces should not be exposed to extreme temperature shock.
La Chamba® Oval Serving Dish
Named for its place of origin, La Chamba clay cookware from Colombia is crafted completely by hand using centuries-old methods. Made from local river clay, this stunning matte-black comal can be used directly on the stovetop for everything from toasting spices and charring vegetables to frying eggs or warming tortillas. It is perfect for use on the grill when cooking delicate vegetables or fish that benefit from the smoky heat of the grill but could stick or fall apart if cooked directly on the grate. Use the La Chamba comal to char vegetables for our Oaxacan Green Mole with Chicken. Oigen Cast-Iron Trivet
Here at Milk Street, our favorite cookware items often double as serving dishes, but hot pans need sturdy trivets to protect tabletops. Traditionally used for cast-iron teapots, Oigen's beautiful trivet is fitted with rubber feet so it won't scratch surfaces or move around while in use. We love the elegant look of this trivet, which combines the rawness of cast iron with a delicate pattern. Solidly forged in Japan from cast iron and subtly detailed, they are as attractive as they are functional. Use solo, or group small and large trivets together.
