These sophisticated truffles combine silky-smooth dark, milk and white chocolate fillings with the subtle crunch of toasted hazelnuts, pistachios and almonds. Artisanal brand Virginia has been synonymous with Italian confections since 1860, when they crafted their first batch of namesake amaretti cookies; their sweets were so popular (and so often imitated) that their founder had the brand protected under the laws of the Kingdom of Italy in 1897. Today, their offerings range from cookies and biscuits to bonbons like these truffles. The Classic and White Chocolate versions feature chopped hazelnuts enrobed with rich dark chocolate and buttery white chocolate, respectively. The milk chocolate-based Gianduia flavor incorporates hazelnuts into the chocolate by blending in gianduia paste. The Amaretto truffle pairs milk chocolate with a subtly floral, almond-heavy amaretto crunch filling. And the Pistachio truffle lets the nut’s unique flavor and aroma shine by pairing it with pure white chocolate.

The vintage-style tins are pretty enough to skip gift-wrap and the truffle wrappers are designed with bold, bright colors that correlate with each flavor, plus a contrasting pattern of concentric circles on the free edge. Choose from a Rose tin (Amaretto, White Chocolate and Classic) or a Green tin (Pistachio, Gianduia and Classic).
