A broken-in cast-iron skillet is the most useful pan in any kitchen—it holds heat like nothing else, develops a nonstick surface and is virtually indestructible. But a skillet’s shape has limitations: Food gets stuck in sharp corners or cooks unevenly against steep walls.
So, we modernized the classic skillet with a hybridized shape. Like a skillet, the sloped sides of our Everything Pan maximize surface area for cooking. But a saucier’s rounded edges help whisk, stir and turn food without anything sticking in the corners.
Sear a steak, whisk gravy, bake a skillet pizza or shallow-fry fritters: the Everything Pan takes you from breakfast through dinner and goes straight to the table, with its gorgeous design and custom-fit, magnetic wood trivet.
After casting, the pan is tumbled smooth, which makes the difference between the satin finish of vintage pans and the rougher surface of new ones. It’s then treated with a natural vegetable oil seasoning, so it’s slippery-smooth right out of the box.
