This super-crunchy chili sauce is enhanced with preserved soy and fava beans, pumpkin seeds, shallots, mushroom and seaweed powder, sesame oil and garlic for a complete flavor profile—and outstanding texture. The extra crispy bits of chili and garlic provide bursts of contrasting texture (more than usual chili crisps), making it an ideal tableside topping for rice, noodles, stir fries, soups, braises and more.

We use it as a garnish at the table to enhance the texture of rice and noodles, or use a spoonful of the oil to fry eggs and vegetables. Its particularly good with steamed fish and it can work wonders on steamed broccoli, too—just add sliced scallions and sesame seeds. It might sound a little wild, but we love this sauce smeared into a grilled cheese or fried egg sandwich. Frankly, there's little the sauce doesn't improve.
