The dry-roasted variety puts the hazelnut’s distinct flavor profile on full display; the roasting process deepens and enhances their natural sweetness and makes them delightfully crunchy. (And since they’re dry-cooked, there’s no extra oil or other ingredients to alter the flavor—just pure hazelnut, through and through.)
