HOW TO USE

Spread these fig preserves with butter or ricotta on toast or in a sandwich— especially with homemade roasted meats like turkey, pork or ham. Fig preserves are a classic addition to an elegant cheese or charcuterie platter with any type of cheese or cured meat. For dessert, smear a little between layers of carrot cake along with cardamom-scented cream cheese frosting. The same fruity-floral qualities that make figs pair so well with charcuterie also make it an excellent option for pairing with roasted meats. Try adding fig preserves to a finishing glaze for your next roast chicken or turkey, or a slow-roasted pork shoulder.
