Anything with sharp cutting blades should be handled with extreme care. Oddly though, there are no warnings in the instruction leaflet or elsewhere in the package. Missing also is the country of origin which should be indicated on the product, but is nowhere to be found. I believe that is required on all products, at least those manufactured outside of the United States.
The instructions show that two arrows stamped into the stainless portion of the “Top Cover” indicate the double notch side of the “Grating/Slicing Blade” inserts. As a designer myself, I think you missed a golden opportunity. It would make more sense to turn the stainless blades of the “Grating/Slicing Blade” inserts 180 degrees.
