Aledi

Aledi Bronte Panettone with Sicilian Pistachio Cream

Regular price $50.00

Bronte, which sits in the foothills of the Sicily’s volcano Mount Etna, is a quaint village known for its sweet-fruity pistachios, often nicknamed “green gold.” These pistachios—which are only picked from trees every other year and given Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) status—are the star of Aledi’s Panettone di Bronte with Sicilian Pistachio Cream: a pillowy, buttery bread not unlike the softest brioche you’ve ever had. Each sweet bread is raised with sourdough and naturally leavened for 36 hours. The panettone is filled with a smooth pistachio cream, glazed and given a generous sprinkle of those world-famous pistachios before being packed up and sent to you.

Traditionally served after the Christmas meal in Italian households, celebrate your own holiday festivities with this decadent treat. The panettone comes boxed up in charming green packaging, so it’s gift-ready as well.
