A modern answer to traditional blue and white pottery, called arita ware, the hand-drawn designs include two striped cats, one curled up asleep around the bowl and another who’s revealed when you finish your food. The classic coloring and thin cobalt rim line make it easy to pair with other ceramics. With its 7.25-inch diameter, the bowl is perfect for ramen, noodles, rice dishes, soup and more. No two cats are alike, each one will have its own marking due to plates’ handmade nature. The bowl is safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher.
