The Kim’s Cook Sandwich Press is a hinged, wide-capacity press built to effortlessly flip and crisp your favorite sandwiches on the stove—no outlets or plugs required. It’s easy to use: Simply assemble the sandwich and close the pan, allowing the handle’s heavy-duty magnet to lock everything in place. (We tested the magnet’s strength by pressing thick ciabatta bread, and it didn’t budge at all.) Place the pan over the stovetop—it works on induction, gas and electric—and flip intermittently to brown the bread to perfection. The result is a crisp, golden sandwich with a warm, melted inside.
Its functionality goes beyond bread. Ditch the slotted spatula: Sear both sides of delicate fish filets with a quick flick of the wrist. (You’ll even be able to keep that precious fish skin intact.) We marinated and cooked chicken thighs and legs straight in the pan, too. There wasn’t a leak in sight because of the silicone gasket, designed to form a tight seal around the rim. Made with durable, ceramic-coated stainless steel, the pan releases food easily; just wash with soap and hot water when done.
