Made in Japan, this ceramic ramen bowl features woodblock artist Katsushika Hokusai’s “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa,” one of the most recognizable Japanese artworks in the world. Inside the hand-glazed white bowl, you’ll see indigo-colored roaring waves, fishing rowboats (called oshiokuribune) and, of course, Mount Fuji on the horizon. (The artwork is a part of Hokusai’s woodblock print series “Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji” from 1830–1832.) Due to the high-temperature glazing style, no two bowls are alike. With its 8.25-inch diameter, the bowl is perfect for ramen, noodles, rice dishes, soup and more. Safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher.
