Villa Jerada Urfa Pepper

If you have never tried Urfa pepper, you should. Tellicherry will never be the same. This particular Urfa is terrific with a dark, true chili flavor with notes of cocoa and tobacco. It’s spicy without being overwhelming. I love to caramelize onions with a nice hit of Urfa – makes a great filling for flatbreads or simply as complement to roast chicken. The peppers will also add character to any roasted vegetable, seared steak, pot of braised beans or even carry-out pizza.  There’s not much Urfa pepper can’t improve.
