Sertodo’s hand-hammered Petite Copper Butter Pot is cute, functional and built to last. It stands a hair under 4 inches tall and has a 1.5-cup capacity, making it just right for melting butter, heating stock and sauces, boiling an egg or two or even making an individual soufflé. The exterior is pure heavy gauge copper hammered to a beautifully shiny finish; the traditional hot-tinned interior is both nonreactive and naturally nonstick. Patented, ergonomically designed stainless steel handles on the lid and pot ensure a comfortable, secure grip both on the stove and at the table. Like all of Sertado’s products, this pan is made from 100% pure recycled copper, responsibly sourced in Mexico and finished by hand in Austin, Texas.

Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap. Dry immediately with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners and dishwashers. Over time, the copper exterior will naturally develop a patina that doesn’t affect its quality or health benefits. Many cherish this aged appearance as it adds character and proves authenticity. To restore the shine on the copper exterior, use a copper-specific polish or a homemade paste using lemon juice and salt. Gently rub onto the surface with a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. You can choose to maintain the shine or embrace the patina.
