This ginger syrup gets its fiery heat from organic ginger root, harvested in a Peruvian ginger cooperative based in the Amazon rainforest. Spicy and vibrant, the juice of crushed ginger root is balanced with pure cane sugar and a hint of citric acid. Compared to other ginger syrups we’ve tried, which taste closer to candied ginger, this one reminds us of fresh ginger and adds a blast of powerful, fresh flavor to drinks or baked goods without overpowering other ingredients. Bright and silky, this cocktail syrup comes in a 17 ounce bottle—larger than many widely available syrups—so you’ll get more out of a single bottle.
