Guelaguetza Designs Plates — Set of 4
Handcrafted exclusively for Milk Street by potters in Puebla, these glazed ceramic plates are painted in the distinctive Talavera style, whose intricate designs evolved from Spanish artisans who arrived in the 16th century. Coming in a set of four, each plate is one of a kind, with slightly different brush strokes and sizes.
Vietri Campagna Collection Oval Platter
Please give our vendor up to two weeks to ship this product.
Brighten your tabletop with this hand-painted ceramic serving platter from Vietri’s flagship Campagna collection. Inspired by pastoral southern Italy, every unique piece features a playful, hand-rendered painting of a horse, rooster, cow, pig, fish or bird, plus vibrant wildflowers or bright coastal algae native to the area. Pair this dishwasher-safe platter with Vietri’s salad plates (mix and match them for extra style) to add an extra touch to a meal. Terracotta, locally sourced from the Amalfi Coast, has been used for Italian ceramics for centuries: the first pieces were dried in the sun. Today, Vietri’s artisans make the Campagna line the same way ceramics have been made for 500 years, but instead of using the sun’s heat to set each piece, each one is fired in a kiln. Careful control of the kiln’s temperature influences each unique piece’s shape and glaze colors. The Campagna line’s cheeky name refers both to the line’s inspiration—“campagna” is Italian for “countryside”—and Vietri’s origins in Campania, a rural, coastal region of southern Italy.

Aux Co. Moritsuke Tong
Roughly translating to “the Japanese art of presenting food,” moritsuke is a beloved tradition and delicate art. It’s a fitting name for Aux Co. Ltd’s Moritsuke Tongs, which are precise like kitchen tweezers, but still sturdy, making them the perfect multiuse tool for anything from frying to plating to serving. Sleek, with a long handle and slight offset angle, these tongs are great for twirling pasta, flipping over food in a pan, deep-frying and tossing salads. The cupped head of the tongs is ideal for picking up food without crushing it and is also strong enough to pick up heavier ingredients, like meatballs, and place them on a nest of spaghetti. Plus, the narrow head of the tongs come together to a fine point, allowing for precision and ease while plating, even for smaller ingredients like thinly sliced pieces of meat. And when they’re not in use, they can be flipped upside down to keep any food residue off your table.
Aux Co. Ltd. Japan Sukueru Knife
This unique serving spoon-knife combo tool is a must-have for serving. Right at the table (or the picnic blanket or the potluck), you can use the serrated edge to cut out your perfect portion of food and then use the dipped bowl of the spoon to easily scoop it into your plate. The concave shape and wider width actually lifts up the food and holds it there—it won’t go tumbling back onto the platter like it would with a classic narrow, triangular server. The blade is sharp enough to cut through pizza crust and it’s ideal for slicing through gooey lasagna without lopping off that top layer of chewy cheese trying to slice and serve. Plus, it’s made from durable, dishwasher safe stainless steel with a satin finish, which is great for camouflaging scratches after frequent use. (And we promise you’ll be using this tool quite a bit.)
Himepla Hinoki Cutting Board
Made from hinoki wood, a durable Japanese cypress, these featherlight cutting boards are perfect for small prep tasks—and the board essentially “heals” itself. Unlike typical wooden cutting boards—which can be heavy, cumbersome and hard on knives—hinoki’s special properties make it Japan’s best-kept secret for food prep and knife maintenance. The medium-soft wood is gentle on knives. Every slice cuts into the hinoki a little, helping blades stay sharp; hard cutting surfaces like fabricated bamboo have almost no give, eventually dulling knives. (Tip: If you give your hinoki board a good scrub and wipe it mostly dry with a cloth, the grain of the wood will swell, repairing most cut marks). Hinoki’s soft, piney scent comes from its natural resin, or yani. Yani helps the board wick water, fight mold and bacteria naturally, dry quickly and easily resist odors—it’s no wonder this type of cutting board is the tool of choice for sushi chefs.
J.K. Adams Maple BBQ Carving Board
A bestseller in J.K. Adams’ lineup, this Maple BBQ Carving Board is perfect for carving meats and collecting juices at the same time. Thanks to a wide groove carved into the board, you’ll be able to carve cleanly and prevent spills. It’s made from maple hardwood and finished with tinted tung oil—a food-safe drying oil made from the seed of the tung tree used to give wood a polished, deeper look. Use to carve steak, chicken, pork and more, or keep on display when not in use for a beautiful decor piece. Available with or without undercut handles.

Tastëlanghe Hazelnut Caramel
Incredibly hard to find in the U.S., Tonda Gentile hazelnuts are considered some of the best in the world. Grown exclusively in the Langhe area of Piedmont, Italy, Tastëlanghe has been producing them since 1891. In their Hazelnut (Nocciola) Caramel, those renowned hazelnuts turn into a creamy, rich, sweet caramelly spread with a hint of salt. Light in texture but deep in flavor, this spread is full of caramel flavor from a mixture of caramelized hazelnuts and milk that is cooked down to perfection. It’s like dulce de leche, but less dense and far more flavorful. Spoon it onto ice cream, cakes, cookies, or any baked good, spread on toast or eat straight from the jar!
