Verve Culture Thai for Two Organic Pad Thai Kit
Thailand’s most famous street food comes together quickly with Verve Culture’s delicious and easy Thai for Two Organic Pad Thai kit. The kit includes the type of rice noodles classic to the dish—soft, thin and flat—herbs, peanuts and a sauce that includes Thai ingredients, like tamarind, that are key to pad thai’s flavor but uncommon in the typical American pantry. Rich, sweet and salty, Verve Culture’s sauce doesn’t taste artificially sweet, like many supermarket brands, or too pungent from fish sauce; we find it more soy-forward. Simply stir-fry the provided ingredients with the protein and vegetables of your choice for a fast, flavorful meal. Verve Culture partners with a USDA-certified organic farm in Thailand that grows classic Thai produce—like makrut lime, galangal and lemon grass—so that every kit delivers traditional flavors and exceptional freshness. Plus, Thai for Two comes in a festive gift bag, so hosting or housewarming gifts are ready to go.

Verve Culture Small Molinillo Whisk
This intricate wooden whisk from Mexico is the traditional tool used to prepare Mexican hot chocolate. Each molinillo is beautifully carved by hand from a single piece of alder wood, resulting in a one-of-a-kind product. And the designs aren't just decorative—the extra nooks and crannies are great for aerating liquid, resulting in an especially creamy drink. Simply roll the shaft back and forth between your palms to whip milk into a light, frothy consistency. For the most authentic experience preparing your hot chocolate and a visually appealing addition to your kitchen, Mexico's time-tested molinillo is perfect.
Verve Culture Terra Cotta Hot Chocolate Jug
Our supplier partners with a single Mexican artisan to source these handcrafted terra cotta jugs, which are meant primarily for serving hot chocolate but can be used for a number of functions. The hourglass shape prevents liquid from splashing when you're whisking hot chocolate, and the clay can be heated directly on the stove over low flame to warm tea, coffee or even soup. Plus, the dramatic curves of the pitcher and handle make it an elegant and inviting decorative piece. To cure the jug before first use, fill with cool water below its rim and bring the water to a boil on the stove. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then allow the jug and the water to cool on their own. As with all clay cookware, this product should not be exposed to extreme temperature shock. Rinsing a hot jug under cold water, for instance, may cause it to crack.

Villa Real Hot Chocolate with Vanilla
This hot chocolate has only a few raw ingredients, yet the beverage has a wonderful depth and warmth, as well as a complex flavor: creamy, nutty and perfectly balanced between bitter and sweet. The addition of ground almonds makes for a silkier, buttery mouthfeel, especially if you whisk the milk constantly while heating it; this allows the nutty aroma of the almonds to permeate the drink for a richer sensation and fullness of flavor. The vanilla's pronounced aroma—paired with a greater percentage of cocoa—produces a comforting, familiar flavor profile that reminds us of high-quality milk chocolate. And cinnamon, a defining feature of Mexican hot chocolate, is an ideal complement for cacao's bitter undertones, as its spicy aroma brightens hot chocolate while its floral accents match those in the drink.

Made with Dwarf Palm from the Fez region, artisans hand weave the material before it is finished by leather workers in Marrakesh. Moroccan Glazed Bowls with Silver Trim - Set of 3
This set of 3 bowls, shaped from red clay, hail from Safi, Morocco, a small fishing village on Morocco’s Atlantic coast known for sardines and ceramics. Each piece is made by hand on a pottery wheel, so no two are exactly alike, before getting fired in 200-year-old kilns. Every bowl is glazed in a vibrant shade of blue, teal or red and finished with a beaten Berber silver trim. Berber silver, or low-purity silver, is a traditional material for Moroccan housewares or jewelry—Verve Culture partners with generational artisans to help preserving this Berber metalcraft. Try these bowls for serving tapas, snacks or desserts.
Moroccan Woven Market Basket
Basket making is a centuries-old craft in Morocco, and these hand-woven palm bags from Essaouira, a coastal town home to plentiful palm groves. We use this understated woven basket as an elegant substitute for a bag at the farmer’s market, beach and everywhere in between. The leather strap is long enough to sling over the shoulder, and the roomy, easy-to-clean basket stacks easily with other baskets between market runs. As each piece is hand-crafted by artisans, note that the strap and basket may vary slightly in size.
